Accessible Yoga

Yoga for people with all (dis)abilities
What does accessible Yoga mean?
Accessible Yoga invites every body to practice, because yoga by its nature is inclusive. No matter your age, mobility, abilities, or experience, there is space for you here. With gentle, adapted movements—sitting, standing, or lying down—we awaken body awareness, find calm, feel joy, and discover our own strength. Everyone moves in their own rhythm, guided with care, mindfulness, and heart, so the practice becomes truly yours.
Inclusive yoga for body, mind & everyday life

Questions & Answers
No. Yoga is not a substitute for medical treatment or therapy – but can be a very valuable add on.
If you have acute or unclear symptoms, please consult your doctor. I provide support and adapt my practice very carefully.
Yes. Many exercises can be done sitting or lying down. It’s about comfortable, safe movements and breathing space – not acrobatics.
No. Comfortable clothing is sufficient. I explain everything step by step and offer several variations.
Yoga itself is a gentle practice of listening to your own body and respecting its boundaries. Touch is never required – it is always optional and only with clear consent. I guide with clarity and sensitivity, making sure everyone feels safe, respected, and supported, with plenty of space for rest and breaks.
Accessible Yoga is designed for anyone with restricted mobility – for example people with physical disabilities, wheelchair users, prosthesis users, or older adults / seniors.
I also have experience working with people with mental disabilities. The practice offers benefits for everyone, and I adapt each session to the individual or group. My approach is flexible, respectful, and always open to learning together along the way.

Building Bridges Through Yoga
Project Setukara Yoga
I am connected with the inclusive project Setukara Yoga in Austria, which brings people with and without disabilities together through yoga, art, dance, and music since 2011. Being part of these encounters has deepened my belief that yoga can be a bridge – creating community, connection, and joy beyond limitations.
